Settings and stats
Settings control how long you work, how long you rest, and when the timer pauses. Changes apply immediately.
Settings
Open 设置… (Settings) from the menu bar menu.

- Work duration is the active time needed before a break starts.
- Rest duration is the length of the full-screen break.
- Idle threshold is how long without keyboard or mouse activity before counting pauses.
- Launch at login uses the system login item mechanism and can also be managed in macOS System Settings.
- Changing the rest duration during a break does not shorten or extend the current break.
- 恢复默认 (Restore defaults) resets work, rest, and idle values. It does not change launch at login.
What the menu bar shows
The title has the form 🐱 32:15 · 歇 2:
- Active time in the current work stretch.
- Today’s completed breaks.
The dropdown also shows your streak (连续 N 天) and today’s skip count is recorded locally.
Breaks and streak
- A completed break increments today’s break count.
- If you completed a break yesterday, the streak continues; a missed day resets it.
- A skipped break is recorded but does not subtract from your streak or score.
- Stats reset for the new day automatically.
Logs
打开日志 (Open log) opens the local log file. It contains state transitions, overlay events, watchdog events, skips, and errors. It does not contain keystrokes or screen contents.
